Family Day 2025: Uhlmann celebrates with over 5,000 guests

A day full of encounters, insights and emotions: The Family Day demonstrated what makes Uhlmann special as an employer.
A celebration for the entire Uhlmann family
On Saturday, May 24, Uhlmann opened its doors in Laupheim for a very special occasion – the Family Day. Over 5,000 guests – far more than the workforce itself – accepted the invitation to experience an unforgettable day together with colleagues, families and friends. There was an open, warm atmosphere from the very first minute. With excellent weather, live music and numerous program highlights, it quickly became clear that a sense of togetherness is what makes Uhlmann a very special employer.
Modern technology to marvel at and touch
With tours of the assembly and production halls, insights into the new office building D6 and machine presentations, the Family Day offered plenty of opportunities to experience Uhlmann up close. Numerous visitors eagerly followed the packaging process on the modern packaging machines. The open doors of the new working environments also showed how the future is being shaped at Uhlmann – transparent, modern and full of opportunities for exchange.
„I found Family Day 2025 to be an impressive sign of the Uhlmann family’s appreciation of its employees. It was especially nice to show my family members where I work and what Uhlmann produces. Many thanks to everyone who made this special day possible!‟

Fun, games and exciting insights
While technology enthusiasts made their way through the factory halls and offices, the children’s area became the most popular place for many young guests. Whether it was the ninja course, hands-on activities or an exclusive look at the training workshop, there was something for all ages. The particularly popular stations were those where trainees enthusiastically explained their professions and brought them to life. “My children particularly enjoyed the training workshop,” reported Tobias Ego. “They were even able to get involved in various set-ups themselves – the trainees were really motivated.” Thomas Kaiser was also impressed: “My children really didn’t want to go home. And I was proud to finally be able to show them where I work.” The program was complemented by a photo booth, ice cream carts and a varied selection of food. There was something for everyone – from typical German food such as the Bavarian white sausage, to Asian stir-fries and Turkish kofta wraps.
„As an industry outsider, it was a great opportunity to gain insight into the processes and the company, everything had been thought of and everything was organized down to the last detail – very impressive.‟

We would like to delve deeper into this special character of a family business – with a series of very personal insights. What if father and daughter work for the same employer? Or if a married couple takes the same route to work every day? It is precisely these stories that we will be focusing on in the coming weeks and months, providing insights into real experiences, strong bonds and special perspectives.
