Uhlmann Serialization Platform for cartons and bottles

The S 500 is a compact, modular serialization platform. It can be flexibly integrated into existing or new packaging lines and can also be used as a stand-alone solution. With a GMP-compliant machine design, centralized operation via Uhlmann SmartControl and integrated Pexcite Track & Trace software, the S 500 offers a comprehensive solution for secure, efficient and scalable serialization processes.

Carton serialization

S 500 carton family

To ensure reliable carton serialization, cartons shall be guided with precision, aligned stably, inspected reliably and discharged accurately. The S 500 carton family is designed for these process steps and ensures stable operations across a variety of carton formats, high cycle rates and changing operational requirements.

The unit is equipped with either an inkjet or laser printer, as well as the VisioRead inspection system. To meet additional requirements for carton serialization, the S 500 can be expanded with components such as tamper-evident labeling, top labeling and top printing.

Bottle labeler

S 500 bottle family

The S 500 bottle labeler is a GMP-compliant, flexible and continuously operating system. With an output of 150 bottles per minute, the machine is perfectly matched to our IBC 150 bottle filling line. The S 500 has a large format range and works without format parts.

The labeler processes round and square containers made of plastic or glass – from standard bottles to vials and ampoules. In addition to the labeling and serialization of bottles, the S 500 series also offers 360° code inspection.
